Ambassador Sibi George of India to Japan visited UF

On November 24, 2023, Mr. Sibi George, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Japan paid a courtesy visit to President UEDA Takanori with the aim of promoting exchanges between India and Japan.

After greetings by President UEDA and Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. NAGAI Niro, a lively exchange of opinions took place, with a focus on the history of exchanges between India and Japan and the current social situation. The three students from India who are currently studying at University of Fukui also attended the meeting and introduced their research projects. Ambassador encouraged them with high expectations for their future endeavors.
