The University of Fukui Alumni Society “KOKORONET” Scholarship (hereafter “KOKORONET Scholarship”) was established to strengthen the relationship between University of Fukui (hereafter “UF”) and University of Fukui Alumni Society (hereafter “UFAS”). It also aims to increase the number of excellent international students enrolling in UF and nurture them as highly skilled professionals so that UF as a whole can internationalize itself further and contribute back to UFAS and the society. KOKORONET Scholarship will be funded by University of Fukui Fund “HABATAKE KIKIN” and mainly donations from former international students of UF.
Application for KOKORONET Scholarship is open to prospective privately financed international students who have been recommended by a UFAS branch and who intend to enroll in a regular course at one of the Schools/Graduate Schools of UF to pursue a degree. The amount of scholarship is 50,000 JPY per month and paid up to 2 years.
